Dear OpenLB Team and Forum Members,
I am writing to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the OpenLB team on the successful release of version 1.8! This is a significant milestone that reflects the continuous development and enhancement of the OpenLB framework.
I have noticed that the number of examples included in version 1.8 has increased compared to versions previous. This is a great advantage for users like me who are learning and exploring the capabilities of OpenLB. The additional examples provide valuable references for understanding how to apply OpenLB in different scenarios and facilitate hands-on practice.
However, during my exploration of the new version, I observed that the “OpenLB User Guide: Associated with Release 1.8 of the Code” has not yet been released. I understand that creating a comprehensive user guide is a substantial task that requires significant effort and attention to detail.
Therefore, I would like to kindly inquire about the release timeline for the user guide associated with OpenLB 1.8. If you could share any information regarding the planned release date or the current progress of the guide’s development, it would be greatly appreciated by the community of users eager to fully utilize the new version.
Thank you once again for your hard work and dedication to the OpenLB project. We look forward to the release of the user guide and continue to be inspired by the advancements in OpenLB.
Best regards,
sx lee
