    Hi
    I was wondering if I can simulate a li-ion battery with openlb, and if yes how can I input a transient heat source inside the battery

    This is not easy to answer.. it depends which model you want to consider (PDE system). Inserting a heat source is no problem. Start with one of the thermal examples..
