    Hello dear Community!

Within the framework of my PhD I want to try and simulate extremely small leaks of Helium in space valve systems (micrograms per second). These so called leaks are due to 1.Flow through porous media and 2.Interfacial leakage flow due to defects (rugosity).

I am first focusing on interfacial leakage but I am a bit lost as to what model to use to simulate these micro-flows. I am quite new to LB and a noob with C++ so I am a bit lost when going though the userguide. I have just done by myself a small matlab code to simulate flow past a cylinder in D2Q9 that worked. Any ideas on how to approach this by you OpenLB professionals would and will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!!

To get started the spring school is recommended, also for more involved consultuing, professional support can be requested, see https://www.openlb.net/consortium/ .

Thanks for your reply! I have already registered for the springschool (even though I don’t recall receiving any confirmation email), but I’d like to work on this matter before may so as to arrive as ready as possible in may. I’ll see with your link, thanks!
