Blood Flow Simulation

In this example, the blood flow through an aorta is computed with a Lattice Boltzmann Method. In particular, this is the abdominal aorta which has a descending bifurcation, distributing the blood pumped from the heart to both legs. This simulation is particularly relevant to research in medicine to understand diseases such as arteriosclerosis.
