Ignition Boiler GPU Simulation

An ignition boiler of the WS Reformer GmbH ( is simulated with the OpenLB library using an LES Smagorinsky model, Bouzidi interpolated wall boundary conditions and a turbulent vortex method at the inlets. The calculation is performed locally on one NVIDIA RTX3090 GPU discretized with 8.3 million grid cells, taking over night for 4.26 real time seconds (169 residence times).
