Can my geometry have different resolution in x and y direction? So that my cell spacing in each direction would be different. For example, spacing of 2 in X direction and spacing of 4 in y direction, so that it captures the x direction more finely.
Since the space and time resolution comes out of a coupled discretization (space, time, velocity) of the phase space from the Boltzmann equation, this is not possible in Lattice-Boltzmann methods unfortunately.
