    Hi,
i start to use HLBM to simulate particles based on the two examples dk2d and setting3d.

Just simply modified the external forces on the particles, it was found that the particles left the domain via the side wall instead of bouncing off.

May i ask how to set the boundary conditions for the particle-wall collision please?

    Hello,

as far as I know, a particle-wall collision is not yet implemented in HLBM.

    Hello,

If you check, for example, the hlbmDynamics3D.hh (e.g., this), you can see an old model. However, this model most likely does not work out of the box. Additionally, it should only work for spheres and straight walls (it’s Hertz-Mindlin-based).

    Cheers,
    Jan
