    Hi everyone!
I am working on MHD flow during melting/solidification via the hybrid lattice Boltzmann method. I have written a code, however, I don’t get it how to couple lattice time with physical time. In some papers, the authors use Fourier and Stefan numbers to derive dimensionless time. But still there is no connection between lattice and physical times. So my question is what is the relation between lattice and physical times?
    kind regards,
    Alex

    Dear Alex,

there is a unit comverter in OpenLB, one for NSE, one for ADE and also others. Also, you can have a look at the book of Krüger et al., there is a chapter on it.

    Dear Prof. Mathias,

Many thanks for your hint. I do not use OpenLB, so i will take a look at the book you mentioned.

    kind regards,
    Alex
