    Dear all,
The doubt is from the book by Sauro Succi (The Lattice Boltzmann Equation 2001) in chapter-06 (Boundary Conditions) Page 83.

It is written in the book that if we initialize f1 = f3 then we don’t need to insure its equality while putting No-Slip condition (i.e. f7=f5, f4=f2 & f8=f6). I was wondering if value of equilibrium distribution function is not equal for both the f1 and f3 then how their values after collision step can be same? In feq the term C.U is different for both.
    Thanking you

    Regards
