    Hi,

When applying the glyph filter in Paraview 5.2.0 to my own simulations and to the examples provided, Paraview does not allow me to select the velocity as a vector. Therefore the glyph ‘vectors’ only point in one single direction, even though I am confident that the velocity does in fact have significant x and y components. Is there a problem with my code such that the output data does not allow this, or is this a problem with Paraview?

    Many thanks,

    Shaun

    Hi, Shaun,
Paraview only recognizes a vector with 3 components. So you should output your velocity in 3 components or use Calculator to generate a vector with “iHat/jHat/kHat”. Take reference to the following website.
