    Hello openLB,

in running the turbulent flow examples in the installation, and looking at the details of the solution in ParaView, I see that the phyPressure field can exhibit a significant degree of checkerboarding/staggering and I wondered if this was an LB phenomenon or related to something specific to the examples (BGK dynamics, resolution …). Can anyone offer any explanations?

My primary purpose is to extract the evolving pressure field for a low speed jet application (quite similar to the nozzle example).

(Sorry if this is a naive question or has been asked before.)

    Thanks for any help!

That is most likely due to the very coarse resolution in the examples. We have cosen them that coarse that you get a result in some minutes. To get proper results you will need a cluster and a much finder resolution!
