    Dear community,

In the Section of 3.1 of OpenLB Users Guide, I have learned how to import 3d models by reading stl files and several primitive and regular 2d shapes and their combinations by pre-defining the necessary geometrical parameters. So, what I’m wondering is how to import a 2d model of arbitrary and unregular shapes for further simulation.

    Thank you for your reply.

How is your 2D geometry defined? One way I have seen applied is to import pixel image formats to set up the geometry. You could also evaluate a STL only on a 2D plane.
